At Bavs Bike Works we are passionate about delivering high quality and accessible servicing for all who love to ride their bikes. We offer a range of services from pre set packages through to bespoke requirements and we'll even come and collect your bike for you.
We are a workshop only service so we really do dedicate our time to ensuring your equipment is in the best condition it can be for both safety and your performance goals.
As cyclists ourselves, we understand the importance of being able to get out and cycle without worrying about your bike. That understanding is present in every job we undertake - the product you receive is the one we would expect to ride ourselves.
We also have a coaching arm to our offering - PB Coaching. Built on the same principles as Bavs Bike Works, we offer coaching that is accessible and delivered to a standard that we would expect to receive. We look to understand the person more than just the athlete and fit the relationship to match.
A small independent workshop that delivers on our personal passion for bikes. Cycling and bikes have always been a part of my life, from training on them for fitness, riding on them to see mates and now dedicating a lot of my time to racing time trials and cycling events.
After 20 years working as an electro-mechanical engineer with a huge focus on performance improvement, I decided to join my passions of engineering and cycling to form Bavs Bike Works. Now working as a qualified cytech Level 2 technician, I am offering a range of cycling services with the aim of providing high quality maintenance, repairs and builds to those who share my passion for life on a bike.
As a time trial racer I naturally find that I tend to attract road and time trial performance bikes but that isn't just what we're about. We will support someone chasing a pro cyclist lifestyle as well as someone putting their hybrid bike through its paces as a commuting machine. If you are a cyclist who needs a trustworthy and quality mechanic then I believe we can help you.
I am a big advocate for sustainability and the bike industry has a lot to answer for. With this throw away and replace culture seemingly the norm, I am passionate to keep perfectly good equipment operating as good as new for as long as possible!
